Staffordshire Junior County Tournament open for entries

We have our first tournament planned for next month – the Staffordshire Junior County Closed Championships at Burton Manor on the 10th and 11th of July. This is an England Squash Junior Bronze event. It promises to be a momentous occasion.

To enter, parents will need to create an account on englandsquash.com first, if they do not already have one. Then they can create one for their son / daughter. After this is done, they can click on the tournament link below to enter through Club Locker.

Detailed below are instructions to help with the entry process. Please follow which applies to you (1) or (2) –

(1) Parents and players who already have England Squash accounts but need to create a Club Locker account for their child and

(2) Parents and players who do not have an England Squash account and need to create one as well as creating a Club Locker account for their child. These are labelled 1 and 2 below accordingly.

Please make sure you either follow 1 or 2 below. Not both.

How to create a Club Locker account and enter your child into an England Squash Sanctioned Event

1. Parents and players who already have England Squash accounts but need to create a Club Locker account for their child.

So, for existing members of England Squash, in order to create a Club Locker account for your child you just need to go to the England Squash website and login as the parent account as you normally would via the link below –

Once logged in, you should land on your dashboard. On the left hand side you should see ‘Child accounts’ – click on this.

Your attached child should appear. If you click on the child you want to create a Club Locker account for, the account details will appear on a drop down menu. If you haven’t ‘Activated’ your child’s account yet you need to do this first by clicking in the circled and then clicking the button ‘Activate child account’.

Scroll further down and you will see ‘Club Locker Account Consent’. Again click in the circle to give consent and then click the red button ‘Create Club Locker Account’

This will take you to another consent page for Club Locker. Everything should already be ticked for you and ready, all you need to do is click the ‘Create Club Locker Account’ button at the bottom.

Once created you should see a message at the bottom to say ‘Account Created’. You can now close this window down and go back to the England Squash website to sign your child up for an event via the link below –

2. Parents and players who do not have an England Squash account and need to create one as well as creating a Club Locker account for their child.

When signing up, go through the normal process of selecting player age category and you will land on a window which shows the player details. The player details will come up as the parents name. Delete the name out of the box and type the childs name in and they will appear on the drop down.

• In order to enter an event the parent must have an England Squash account (don’t need membership though).
• They must then create a England Squash account for the Child (who needs membership to enter events). The account must be attached to the parent account.
• The England Squash account creation process will help you do all of this easily!

To create an account, go to the England Squash website via the link below. Create the parent account first using the parents’ details!

This will create the parent account and you will land on your new dashboard. On the left hand side you will see ‘Child Account’. Click on this to create a Child account that will link to the parent account.

You’ll see an option to ‘add a child account’ click on this

A drop menu will appear where you can enter your childs details. Make sure you select the correct date of birth and gender as this is required as part of event entry process. Scroll further down and you will see two options that you need to complete.

• Click in the circle next to ‘Child Account Activation’ and then below click the circle under Club Locker Consent so that both have ticks.
• Then Click the red button which says ‘Activate Account and Create Club Locker Account’

This will take you to another consent page for Club Locker. Everything should already be ticked for you and ready, all you need to do is click the ‘Create Club Locker Account’ button at the bottom.

Once created you should see a message at the bottom that says ‘Account Created’. You can now close this window down and go back to the England Squash website to sign your child up for an event via the link below.
